
THE FOUNDER
Devon Sachey served five years in the United States Marine Corps as a Sergeant and KC-130 Aircrew member. After her time in service, Sachey worked in marketing, operations, nonprofit management, and veteran services. Sachey is a graduate of Pepperdine University where she earned her MBA in Change Management. During which time, Sachey studied abroad at Oxford University, earning a certificate in Global Enterprise Management.
In her previous position with the Santa Barbara County Veteran Services Office, Sachey established a unique network of veterans, expanding her knowledge of veteran resources. Recognizing an opportunity to better serve U.S. veterans, Sachey founded the VES Consulting Group. Sachey is passionate about socially responsible organizations and helping businesses develop sustainable strategies. Connecting the people side of business with the strategy of an organization is one of her greatest strengths.
When she is not working, Sachey enjoys CrossFit, camping, and training with her horse. Sachey's lifelong passion for horses influences her approach to business, as she believes horses are a valuable metaphor for leadership and relationship management. As an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning, Sachey enjoys coupling leadership coaching and team building into her consulting practice.
